Our Digital City Kyoto project is researching new infrastructures and technology for city community and information services. For creating a real city on the internet that is tied closely to the physical city, we plan to include various kinds of city information, such as local Web information and live sensory data. We have mutliple interfaces to this data, one which is a 3D walk-through that people can access on the internet from an average PC. Another interface is a scrolling java map with links filtered by catergory and location.
